The desktop menu

Right-click an empty part of the desktop and choose Hedgerow for quick actions:

New zone here makes a zone where you right-clicked.
New folder zone here… asks for a folder and shows it in a new zone there.
Suggest zones… opens Suggest zones.
Tidy zones lines up your zones. See Arranging zones.
Show / hide zones hides or shows all zones.
Open Hedgerow opens the Hedgerow window.

Turning it on or off

On the Settings page, tick or clear Show Hedgerow in the desktop right-click menu, then choose Apply. After you turn it on, it can take up to a minute to appear.

If you do not see it

On Windows 11, Hedgerow appears in the first, shorter menu. If it is not there, choose Show more options and look for it in the longer menu. If it still does not appear, see Troubleshooting.
